Currently, in the second semester of my junior year, I am studying in Sevilla, a spectacular city in the Andalusia region of Southern Spain. Notorious for its history of bullfighting and beauty, I aim to absorb all of it.
Through posting about abroad, I hope to give you the good, the bad, and the stories you just cannot make up. I will be staying with a host family and taking all of my classes in Spanish. As I dropped my Spanish major last year to substitute for Strategic Communications and Business, I am a bit timid. With a natural ability to talk too much, I’m sure I’ll get over it.
To reach Sevilla, I am going from Boston to New York (JFK); then New York to Lisbon, Portugal; then from Lisboa to Seville, Spain. Surprise, I was stuck in Lisbon for 10 hours because at some point in the planning it was thought that it would be possible to go through customs and reach the furthest gate. Even with my fastest sprinting (not that fast), it was impossible.
Sitting in the TAP area I decided I am going to be proactive and post as much as possible.
XOXO,
Adelaide
